Malibu Just Released Premixed Piña Coladas And They’re Here To Save Summer

Tasty drinks are essential to keeping away that Lana Del Rey-esque summertime sadness, and none are more classic than the ever-flavorful overlord of fancy-yet-fun beverages, the piña colada.

We all like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.

The drink has the ability to magically transport you from frat party to ferry boat, from bed to beach, from stay-cation to vacation.

But let's get real— no one wants to take the time to actually make them.

Without a bottled mix or a really nice bartender friend, you've gotta go through the whole ordeal of looking up a piña colada recipe on Pinterest, getting distracted by gluten-free vegan blueberry muffin pins, realizing you don't have any of the ingredients, spending your entire paycheck at Trader Joe's, being like "how do you even cut a coconut?" and cracking open your favorite wine spritzer instead.

Fear not! Malibu has you covered.

Your favorite rum company just released a line of pre-mixed canned piña coladas for all our summer needs. It's as simple as cracking one open and, voilà! Enjoy!

I mean, as long as you remember to put them in the fridge after you buy them.

The piña coladas are part of a new collection Malibu is putting out for the summer time.

They include the flavors pineapple, pear, cola, and the one and only piña colada.

We don't know much about them other than the fact that they should be in all major liquor stores within the month.

I don't know about you, but I'm already clearing cooler space.

The new flavors are currently out of stock online.

While we wait, we have last year's Malibu summer surprise to enjoy: Malibu Fizzy Pink Lemonade.

I know, I know, it's just not the same, but they should be back soon so hold your horses.

Don't worry— we won't tell your friends that you bought 'em premixed.

In other news, I would like to retract my earlier statement:

No one likes getting caught in the rain. No one. Literally no one.
