You're a parent in the driver's seat with your six-year-old in the backseat and you've decided to pick up some food from Chick-fil-A.
You make your order and creep along down the drive thru lane behind other cars. You're driver's side is right up close to the building, because you need to be able to reach the service windows.
So as you're waiting in the line of cars, you glance in the rearview mirror and realize that your little boy has managed to get tangled in his seat belt and he's suffocating.
As soon as she noticed, she began to yell for help. Remember, she couldn't get out through the driver's door and probably couldn't twist and reach back easily either.
He didn't even hesitate, leaping out the window to the ground below and rushing to help.
That meant that he was able to quickly cut through the seat belt, freeing the child.
"You could see he was turning red and losing pigmentation in his face," he told WSB-TV.
According to his mom, Teri, he didn't even mention it right away upon getting home.
"He'd been home for a couple of hours and he said nonchalantly, 'I saved a kid's life today,' and I was like 'What?'"
Some might wonder why she didn't do so at the time, but it's likely that between panic and worrying about her little boy, the mom was understandably distracted.
And the restaurant was able to provide them with the security camera footage that shows exactly how quickly Logan jumped into action.
"I do feel like a hero," he said, and he really should.
